Welcome to Poplar Road Elementary School!

Dear Parents, Thank you for visiting our page! A little about myself. I have been the principal of Poplar Road for 12 years. I've been in education for 25 years. All of these years are serving Coweta County School System. I am married with two grown sons and live in Senoia, Georgia. Coweta County has been my home for the past 28 years and I am so proud to be here!

Teaching was not my original path. But it is definitely in my blood. My mother was a first grade teacher for over 32 years. She instilled in me the love of learning and leading.

As we start the 2020-2021 school year, there are so many unknowns and unprecedented measures that we are tasked with. But here is a certainty....our staff is committed to providing your child with a safe, nurturing and challenging environment. We miss our students so much and can not wait to have them back with us whether it is face to face or virtually. Please know that we are humbled by your faith and trust in what we love to do every day! Poplar Road Panthers and their families are the absolute best!
